MotionMobs co-founder Taylor P. Wyatt has been named president of Kiosk Evolution LLC, a digital kiosk solutions firm.
A news release sent out Tuesday said Kiosk is one of First Avenue Ventures' portfolio companies. First Avenue is a management company that has focused on growing business in the Birmingham area.
Wyatt told me in an email that she will remain affiliated with MotionMobs, an app development and design firm established in 2010. Last week, I reported that MotionMobs named Robert Hahnemann as its new CEO.
"I will work with Robert in a founder role and eventually as a board member for the company," Wyatt said. "Kiosk Evolution will be my primary focus, but our growth will positively affect MotionMobs as well."
Kiosk customers use a cloud-based software to control their kiosk. A kiosk from the firm allows companies to manage multiple kiosks from a central location.
"The dashboard allows different levels of access to the software," the news release said. "The software also allows administrators to push digital content (images, videos and document files), integrate social media feeds ... and manage all of the live content in real time."
The software has integrations with tools and sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Citing Wyatt's experience with a mobile development firm, First Avenue Managing Principal T. Michael Goodrich, II, said Wyatt was the "logical choice" for president of Kiosk.
"I am very grateful to the MotionMobs team for helping me build and harness several years of knowledge and experience in the mobile industry," Wyatt said. "I'm excited to put that experience to work for my new team."
